You were never going to hire an IT department. So don't.

Small organisations get offered two things. Enterprise capability at enterprise prices, or someone affordable who has never worked at that level.

Orbisom is the third option. Thirty years of architecture built for police, health, aviation and government, applied at your scale, priced to work because AI now does the repetitive labour that used to make it unaffordable. That is the whole idea. Everything below is evidence that it is real.

The problem

Nobody is actually responsible for your technology

01

It only gets attention when it breaks

Websites go stale, backups quietly stop running, domains and certificates lapse. None of it is anybody's job until it is suddenly everybody's problem.

02

The advice you get is selling you something

Most people offering technology advice make their margin on what they resell. You are rarely told that the simpler option is better, because the simpler option pays less.

03

AI is being sold as magic

A demo that works once is not a system. Knowing when AI is genuinely the right answer, when ordinary automation beats it, and how to make either one survive contact with real use, is a different skill from being able to run the demo.

What changed

The maths finally works.

Senior technical judgement used to be expensive because senior people spent most of their time on repetitive work. That is the part AI is genuinely good at. Take it away and thirty years of architecture becomes something a small business can actually afford to have on its side. We are not selling you AI. We are using it so we can afford to look after you properly.

What we do

Four services. Every one of them somebody's actual job now.

01

Website care and IT troubleshooting

Somebody is responsible for your website and your day-to-day IT again. Audits, fixes, updates, broken links, content changes, the slow rot nobody notices. AI carries the routine work with maintained context for each client, so we are not relearning your setup every time something breaks.

StatusThree clients on this today. Our most proven service.
02

AI agents and automation

Agents that run to a schedule with nobody watching. Retrieval over your own documents, workflow automation across email, storage, CRM and web platforms, and the evaluation and tuning that turns a clever prototype into something you can depend on.

StatusMultiple systems in production, including our own.
03

Solution architecture and tender support

Options analysis, technology roadmaps, architecture artefacts taken through formal governance gates, technical risk assessment, and tender documentation and evaluation. The discipline that decides whether a project is buildable before anyone spends money on it.

StatusUnder contract to Brisbane City Council.
04

Business email, backup and support

Email on a platform we own and operate rather than resell per mailbox, backup and recovery scoped against what you would actually need to restore, and someone who answers.

StatusPlatform built and provisioning automated.

Systems that are switched on right now

In production

Autonomous tender-intelligence agent

Ingests government tender notifications daily, parses attachments in PDF, Word and Excel, scores every opportunity against a structured capability profile, maintains a ranked pipeline and issues a written decision brief. Matching specification, exclusion logic, audit trail.

In production

Operations stack for a field-services business

Built and run across a working field-services business that we own, so it has operated continuously with nowhere to hide. Make.com orchestration, Claude with MCP connectors, Dropbox as the asset store, Metricool for scheduled publishing, and a Python quote engine producing formatted PDF quotes from structured pricing rules.

In production

Multi-tenant email platform

A self-hosted mail platform with automated provisioning. A CLI onboards a client domain and its mailboxes through the API and emits the DNS records required, backed by documented runbooks written for handover.

In production

Automated content and media pipeline

Scripted generation, AI voice synthesis, AI image generation, automated rendering with FFmpeg, derivative short-form output and scheduled multi-platform publishing. Runs end to end with minimal human intervention.

Who you are dealing with

Craig, Principal

Orbisom is small on purpose. Engage us and you get a TOGAF-certified solution architect with thirty years in technology and fifteen at architect level, not a junior working from a script.

That career was spent where getting it wrong was not an option: New Zealand Police, Australian federal government under NV1 clearance, WA Health, Qantas, Brisbane City Council, the University of Western Australia. Orbisom Pty Ltd has traded independently since 2018.

The same person who architects a council programme is the one who will tell you your backup has not run since March. That is unusual, and it is the point. A hands-on AI course for business users is currently in development. Full name, CV and references are provided on enquiry.

A website that keeps breaking. A process eating a day a week. A tender you are deciding whether to bid. An AI idea you are not sure is feasible. We will tell you straight whether we are the right people, including when we are not.
